Hack H.C. At The 2013 Hockey Summit Of The Arts

My team the Toronto Hack H.C. will be making our ninth appearance in the 2013 Hockey Summit Of The Arts this weekend.

The tournament, which features arts-based hockey teams from across the country, will take place Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31 with the Fri-Sat games at Westwood Arena and the finals taking place at De La Salle Arena.

Our round robin opponents will all be quite familiar to us, having faced them at past tournaments or league play.

Friday, March 29, 12 pm  Hack vs. Dufferin Groove
Friday, March 29, 4 pm Hack vs. Montreal Ninja Tune Wicked Deadly Karate Chops
Saturday, March 30, 12 pm Hack vs. Edmonton Gong Show

As important as the hockey, though, is the “art” of the weekend. Every team in the tournament is required to make an artistic contribution to the tournament and ours will be performing as a band at the Friday night “Hootenanny.”

Our set is scheduled for 11 p.m. at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern and we can guarantee it will be very shitty.
